Emily's Tree

Emily's Tree started as a homework project from my creative writing college course. The brief was to write two versions of the same short story, one uplifting and one sinister, both 500 words, and both should be written in the form of "Meias Res”.
Emily's Tree was the sinister version, this is the story it evolved into.
Please excuse any mistakes, Oh, and yes, I know, it's an awful accent, I'm sorry about that but it's the only one I have.
